Second call for tenders for the construction of the bridge to join San Ignacio to Zorrotzaurre

Visesa (Vivienda y Suelo de Euskadi S.A.) has issued a second call for tenders for the construction of the bridge, which will join San Ignacio (from close to the new IDOM headquarters) to the future island of Zorrotzaurre. The first call in December 2016 was cancelled.

Tenders must be presented before 13.00 on September 15th 2017.

The base budget for tenders is 10,198,702.20 euros (before VAT) and the period for execution of the works is 17 months.

The bridge, designed by the engineers, Enrique Elkoroberezibar and Sergio Saiz of LKS Ingeniería, will be single span, 75 metres long, and 28 metres wide to be distributed as follows: 6.7 metres for two traffic lanes, 7.0 metres for 2 exclusive bus lanes, 2.5 metres for a two-way cycle path, and 8.8 metres for two pedestrian pavements of 4.4 metres each.
